I never was aiming to develop a career of a personal shopper: it just happened naturally and easily, by word of mouth and personal reference. Then I went to FIT and systematized what I already knew intuitively.
As my clientele grew, i came to realizing that a job of a personal shopper is more of a shrink job than anything else: dealing with body insecurities, envies and vanity is the same as what a shrink deals with, minus conversations about one's childhood drama!
I'm not going to preach and give "create your personal style" lectures here - anyone can buy at least a dozen books on the topic. I'm not interested in advertising my personal shopping either - I'm pursuing a different career now, but personal shopping just doesn't seem to let me go :) so I guess it's for a good reason - over the last several years my image consulting and personal shopping has changed several lives and created several new families, so I guess I'm pretty good at what I do, huh!
But I always want to go deeper... so here it is, analysis of deeper connections of inner and outer, people's characters through their wardrobes, signs that different pieces of wardrobe are sending out, and maybe solving life dilemmas through one's wardrobe - here you go, SALVATION THROUGH WARDROBE!
I will be sharing things new and exciting about personal outlook, posting interesting looks that go beyond obvious perfection (cannot and don't want to beat Scott Schuman at dat!) - my own discoveries from my own experiences, not something I read in style b00ks or gloss (I don't even read style books or gloss, huh).
Plus, looks and people that I simply enjoy watching and who can pull it off gracefully and mindfully.
Hope you'll enjoy it, too.
